Professional wrestling fans around the world are mourning the loss of Benjamin Satterley, widely known by his ring name Pac, after authorities confirmed that the British wrestler died from bronchial asthma at the age of 40.
The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office in Illinois confirmed the cause of death on Friday, October 16, 2026, according to reports. His death was classified as natural. Satterley died on September 27, just one day after competing at All Elite Wrestling’s (AEW) All Out pay-per-view event in the Chicago area.

The incident report stated that authorities found no visible injuries or suspicious markings on his body. Officers also noted saliva on the front of his shirt and medication inside the vehicle. A woman who knew Satterley reportedly told police that he had stopped for lunch before travelling to the airport. His phone was displaying a Google Maps route to O’Hare International Airport.
Before his death, Satterley had performed at the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates on September 26. Wrestling under the name Pac, he competed against Andrade El Ídolo in an AEW National Championship contest. He also appeared during the main event involving Jon Moxley and Will Ospreay.
